Ludovico Clemente Garavani, known simply as Valentino, has passed away at the age of 93. The designer, creator of the eponymous brand, died at his home in Rome.
The announcement was made by the Valentino Garavani Foundation and Giancarlo Giammetti, the designer’s longtime companion.
O wake will be held in the PM23 chapel, Piazza Mignanelli 23, Rome, on Wednesday, January 21st and Thursday, January 22nd, from 11am to 6pm. The funeral will be held on Friday, January 23, at 11am, in the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri, Piazza della Repubblica 8, Rome.
