Former Trump advisor criticizes Lula’s article in a US newspaper

Jason Miller, former strategist for Donald Trump’s first government, criticized a publication by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) in the American newspaper The New York Timesin which the PT member called the recent US military action in Venezuela, which resulted in the capture of dictator Nicolás Maduro, on January 3, “regrettable”.

According to the leftist leader, the American operation in Caracas represents another “regrettable chapter in the continued erosion of international law and the multilateral order established after the Second World War.”

Trump’s former advisor reacted to Lula’s term “regrettable chapter” in history to talk about the arrest of his ally in Brazil, former president Jair Bolsonaro.

“Lula, Stay out of this. Do you know what a ‘regrettable chapter’ is? Arresting President Jair Bolsonaro; Denying Bolsonaro medical assistance; and allowing the Chinese to take over Brazil,” wrote Miller in a post on Instagram this Sunday (18), alongside a photo with Bolsonaro.

He also classified Lula’s article in the Times as “pathetic”.
