The Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro identified the victims of this Saturday’s helicopter accident (17) in a forested area in the neighborhood of Guaratiba, in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro.
Sérgio Nunes Miranda, Major of the Brazilian Air Force, Lucas Silva Souza, captain of the Fire Department, and Diego Dantas Lima Morais, flight instructor, were on the aircraft. From now on, the bodies will be sent for examination at the Legal Medical Institute (IML).
The Fire Department continues to work with CENIPA (Aeronautical Accident Investigation and Prevention Center) to identify the causes of the accident.
