Soldiers specializing in combat engineering from the 1st Sapper Regiment of the Polish Army recently took part in a training integrating land robotic systems and unmanned aerial vehicles, as part of the modernization and operational adaptation activities of the Polish Armed Forces.
It announced the project General Command of the Armed Forces on its official website on the X platform. In addition to the Land Forces units, the police and the Greater Poland Search and Rescue Group also participated in the exercises, which emphasizes the inter-ministerial nature of the training.

These resources were used in simulated reconnaissance, engineering support and evacuation scenarios, reflecting the modern requirements of increasingly technologically advanced battlefields.
The Polish Army already tested PIAP HUNTeR in 2023, then in a configuration equipped with the REX ZMU-03 combat module armed with a 12.7 mm machine gun.
This system is a wheeled robotic combat vehicle developed as part of the Łukasiewicz Research Network, which brings together institutions such as AREX, WB Group and the Institute of Industrial Automation and Measurements.

From a technical point of view, the vehicle is equipped with a 110 kW generator responsible for powering the engines and sensors.
Remote control is carried out thanks to a set of sensors and nine HD cameras, with GPS-assisted navigation.
In addition to conventional optical systems, the equipment also includes thermal imaging sensors to increase situational awareness in various operational conditions.
