Cadillac will enter F1 as the 11th expansion team in 2026 and will field cars for both returning veterans as well as the champions Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez.
The team, led by the experienced Graeme Lowdonhas just revealed its first F1 livery – a special color scheme that will be used during the F1 shakedown in Barcelona at the end of January.
The varnish was presented by General Motors-director Mark Reuss at the company’s headquarters in Detroit and consists of a sleek, stealth-inspired monochrome color scheme dominated by black and silver.
“Our new test paint pays tribute to Detroit’s design heritage and the strength of the global Cadillac-Formula 1 teams, while keeping our design secrets hidden,” said Reuss.
It should be noted that Cadillacs final race livery for 2026 will be revealed on February 8 during a Super Bowl halftime announcement, shortly before the official start of pre-season testing in Bahrain.
“The Barcelona test is just the beginning – we’re looking forward to sharing our official race livery with fans around the world next month,” added Reuss.
