Celine Dion‘s heart will always go on for René Angélil.
The “Power of Love” singer shared a heartbreaking message for her late husband 10 years after he died at age 73 following a yearslong battle with cancer.
“Mon amour, ten years without you feels like just a day, and yet each day feels like a decade,” Céline wrote on Instagram Jan. 14 alongside a snap of the former talent manager’s portrait leaning against a black piano. “Ten years without your caress, and yet every day I feel your touch.”
And the Grammy winner wasn’t the only one who had a heartwarming tribute for René, who began managing Céline’s career when she was 12 and married her 14 years later in 1994. The post also included a note from the couple’s three sons, René-Charles Angélil24, and twins Nelson Angélil and Edde15.
“We miss you more than we can bear,” the message continued, “but you taught us to be strong.”
They added, “We love you more, every day and every year.”
