The Central Bank reported this Tuesday (13) that there are still R$10.02 billion in “forgotten resources” by customers. This balance considers values recorded up to last year, being R$7.8 billion for individuals and R$2.22 billion for companies.
To date, the BC reported that R$12.92 billion, forgotten in financial institutions, has already been returned.
The Central Bank system allows both individuals and legal entities to consult amounts forgotten in banks, consortiums or other institutions. The deadline for seeking the resources would have ended on October 16, 2024, however, the Ministry of Finance informed that there is no deadline for customers to redeem the amounts at financial institutions.
