At least 22 die after crane falls on a train in Thailand

A train traveling from Thailand’s capital to the country’s northeast derailed on Wednesday after a construction crane fell onto one of the carriages, killing at least 22 people and injuring at least 30, Thai police said. 📱Download the g1 app to see news in real time and for free The accident occurred on Wednesday morning in the district of Sikhio, in the province of Nakhon Ratchasima, 230 kilometers northeast of Bangkok, on a train bound for the province of Ubon Ratchathani. Local police told Reuters that a crane working on a high-speed train project collapsed and hit a passing train, causing it to derail and briefly catch fire.
