Hyundai Motor Company officially introduced the STARIA Electric at the Brussels Motor Show, marking the launch of the first all-electric version of its flagship MPV.

The model sets a new bar in the segment by combining zero-emission mobility, human-oriented design and practical solutions for different lifestyles.

The powertrain consists of an 84 kWh capacity battery paired with a 160 kW (218 hp) electric motor with front-wheel drive. The 800-volt electrical architecture offers repeated fast charging with lower heat production, enabling charging from 10 percent to 80 percent in approximately 20 minutes with direct current. The estimated range according to the WLTP cycle reaches up to 400 km.

On the safety front, STARIA Electric features the comprehensive Hyundai SmartSense ADAS suite that offers support and confidence in city, highway and parking manoeuvres. Towing capacity reaches up to 2,000 kg, increasing versatility in commercial and recreational use.

Launch and production

STARIA Electric will be available in Korea and Europe in the first half of 2026; Other markets will be added later. Production is planned at the Hyundai Ulsan facility in South Korea.
