Soldiers of the 210th Separate Assault Regiment destroyed a Russian self-propelled artillery unit 2S1 “Gvozdika” in the direction of Zaporizhzhia.

The information was released by the unit’s official Telegram page.

According to the statement, the target was hit by an FPV drone after identifying a camouflaged shooting position. The drone operator executed the attack with precision, resulting in the neutralization of Russian equipment.

Published images indicate that the target was a self-propelled gun 2S1 Gvozdika. The identification is based on design features of the system, such as the low-profile turret and the absence of a pronounced recoil mechanism above the barrel — typical elements of the model known as “Gvozdika”.

Losses of Russian self-propelled artillery systems on the battlefield remain high. The number of destroyed or captured 2S1 “Gvozdika” units has already exceeded 174. However, this is not the highest total among artillery losses.

Data indicates higher losses for 2S3 Akatsiya systems, with 191 units destroyed or captured. The highest number recorded so far concerns the 2S19 Msta-S self-propelled guns, with a total of 256 systems neutralized by the Defense Forces.
