A Datafolha survey shows that the Workers’ Party (PT) is the preferred party of 24% of voters. Jair Bolsonaro’s Liberal Party (PL) is in second, with 12%.
The survey has been conducted by the institute since 1989, the year of the first direct elections for president after the military dictatorship. According to the research, in the third Lula government, the scenario is one of stability for the PT, whose rates varied from 23% to 27%, while Bolsonaro’s party reached a record rate of 12% in the historical series.
The survey was carried out with 2,002 people aged 16 or over between December 2nd and 4th, in 113 municipalities. The survey data comes from a question that accepted spontaneous and unique answers in Datafolha. The margin of error is plus or minus 2 percentage points.
