An armored capsule from the ground robotic complex (NRK) was used to evacuate wounded Ukrainian soldiers from an infantry position after an enemy FPV drone attack.
The operation was carried out as part of a mission named ‘Fixy’, the 1st Independent Medical Battalion said.
According to the battalion, the soldier was unable to move from the infantry position after being hit by an object dropped by an enemy drone. Because the route to the evacuation point had to pass through an area densely populated with enemy troops, traditional rescue methods could not be used.

In this situation, the command decided to deploy a ground robot complex equipped with an armored capsule. The total planned travel distance was 58km, including 29km one way. After bringing the injured person on board, the system detected the presence of enemy drones, so the team accelerated its movement to the maximum possible speed.
Approximately 4km into the movement, during the second attempt to advance, the ground robot was attacked by an enemy FPV drone. Nevertheless, troops from nearby units immediately rescued the soldier from the damaged capsule, and he immediately received emergency medical attention.

According to the release, the use of the armored capsule prevented the injured during the collision from suffering further damage. The soldier is currently receiving treatment at the next level of the medical evacuation system. The total duration of the mission was 3 hours and 25 minutes. NRK’s average speed was 18 km/h and maximum speed was 38 km/h, and a damaged robot complex was also recovered.
