The Russian government accused Ukraine of trying to attack President Vladimir Putin’s residence. The information was released by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
According to Lavrov, around 90 long-range drones were used in an attempt to bomb the property, located in the Novgorod region. According to the minister, all equipment was intercepted and destroyed by Russian air defenses.
According to the chancellor, the alleged attempted attack could directly impact the peace negotiations. Moscow stated that it intends to review its position in the diplomatic dialogue due to the episode.
So far, the Ukrainian government has not officially commented on the accusations.
