And, Mariah added, if as a little girl she’d known that one day people would be calling her the “Queen of Christmas,” that would have been “pretty amazing.”
“But I think it’s disrespectful to be, like, ‘That’s what I amthat’s who I am,‘” she noted. “I just love the holidays more than any time. Even though like a lot of times we dress the place up to make music and to do this and that, it’s not the same as the actual holidays. Even when I spent Christmas in a place that’s not snowy, I am a traditional lover of the holidays.”
