Former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro reported this Saturday (27) that former president Jair Bolsonaro returned to the operating room to undergo a new medical procedure. The information was disseminated through social media.
According to Michelle, Bolsonaro underwent a phrenic nerve block, indicated for the treatment of persistent hiccups. “My love has just gone to the surgical center to have the phrenic nerve blocked. I ask that you intercede in prayer for this procedure to be successful and bring definitive relief,” he wrote. She also stated that the former president has been facing the problem for around nine months.
Last Thursday (25), Jair Bolsonaro underwent surgery to treat a bilateral inguinal hernia. The procedure was requested by the defense and authorized by the minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), Alexandre de Moraes, on Tuesday (22). The operation lasted approximately three and a half hours.
