Will Arnett’s bond with Amy Poehler isn’t a bad case of arrested development.
As the former couple—who got divorced in 2012 after nine years of marriage—continue to prove they’re on good termsthe BoJack Horseman actor shared his thoughts on the negative rumors surrounding their friendship.
“People think that they know. Over the years, I’ve read so many opinions people have,” Will, 55, told Rolling Stone in an interview published Dec. 24. “It’s f–king hilarious to me how much s–t is just made up and they have zero idea. It’s like, ‘Oh, you think you know what my life is?’”
He continued, “Yes, it’s part of celebrity culture that we all participate in.”
Indeed, Will and Amy, 54, have shown their split hasn’t negatively affected their dynamicespecially when it comes to co-parenting their sons Archie17, and Abel15. In fact, the Mean Girls alum was a surprise guest on Will’s SmartLess podcast—which he cohosts with Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes—in April, an episode he recently described as “a great one.”
