An accident involving a travel bus left at least two people dead and 41 injured in Jaboticabal, in the interior of São Paulo, this Wednesday morning (24). Among the victims are a woman and a child, whose identities have not been revealed.
According to information from the Transport Agency of the State of São Paulo, the bus was traveling on the highway when the driver lost control of the steering wheel and overturned in the center of the roundabout.
The bus left São Paulo on Tuesday night (23) and was destined for the city of Olímpia.
The Fire Department treated the victims at the scene. According to agents, 23 had minor injuries and 6 are in serious condition.
The causes of the accident are still being investigated.
