Largest nuclear plant in the world gets date to resume operations

According to the president of the company responsible for the plant, the first reactor of the construction unit will resume on January 20th. Kashiwazaki-Kariwa, has been closed since the 2011 earthquake and tsunami that devastated the Fukushima Daiichi plant, in the worst nuclear disaster since Chernobyl. This week, authorities gave the green light for the plant to return to operation.
