The defense of former president Jair Bolsonaro sent the request for hospitalization at the DF Star Hospital, in Brasília, scheduled to take place on Wednesday (24).
According to the statement, the need for the procedure was highlighted by the medical team and confirmed by the Federal Police after an examination.
The expectation is that Bolsonaro will undergo new preparatory tests before surgery.

“In order for the surgery indicated by the medical team and confirmed by the expertise carried out by the Federal Police to be carried out, and in accordance with the schedule of the medical team responsible for the surgical procedure, it is requested that the Petitioner be taken and admitted to the DF Star hospital, on tomorrow, Wednesday, December 24th, so that he can undergo the necessary exams in preparation for the surgical procedure”, says the defense.
