Autosport Top 50 of 2025: #26 Tadasuke Makino

by Marcelo Moreira

This season provided yet more proof that Tadasuke Makino is the clear top dog in the Honda Super GT stable. Not only did he drag the recalcitrant Civic Type R-GT to second place in the drivers’ standings, together with Naoki Yamamoto, but he was also given the honour of being the first to shake down the all-new Prelude-GT that succeeds the Civic next year.

In Super Formula, it was a second year in a row of narrowly missing out on the title, but he and team-mate Kakunoshin Ohta could take satisfaction in delivering Dandelion Racing a second teams’ crown in a row.
