Video: Russia receives new delivery of BMP-3 with improvements based on experience from the war

The state Russian company Rostec has announced the delivery of a new Batch BMP-3 infantry vehicles for the Russian armed forces. The shipment was carried out through the consortium “High Precision Systems”, which is part of the Group.

According to Rostec, the vehicles have been modernized on the basis of experience of real combat operations in recent years. They are now equipped with extra protection and signature reducing technology, making them more difficult to detect for enemy surveillance systems.

“Today, the standard configuration of the BMP-3 is significantly different from the model delivered before the start of the special military operation. Over the past three years, several changes have been made based on the wishes of the soldiers and practical experience of the battlefield,” the company stated in an official announcement.

Among the improvements are side panes, protective grids, top fuses, lower visibility technology and new systems that improve mobility and weapon efficiency.

Rostec also announced that they maintain a flexible system for the production and modernization of armored vehicles, which makes it possible to quickly implement updates at the request of the troops and at the same time expand the serial production of BMP-3.
