Former president Jair Bolsonaro underwent a custody hearing this Sunday (23), which lasted around 30 minutes.
According to Band’s team of journalists in Brasília, Bolsonaro reported having suffered an outbreak and denied that he had any intention of escaping. He also said he believed the attack was caused by medication.
After the hearing, Bolsonaro’s preventive detention was maintained and approved by the Federal Supreme Court (STF).
At the hearing, the judge analyzed whether the arrest occurred legally.
