Authorities have warned that the death toll could rise as around 25 people remain missing. Oksana Kobel hoped that her son, Bohdan, would be found alive. He was in a ninth-floor apartment at the time of the attack. “I went to work and heard the explosions. I called him and said, ‘Bohdan, go to the shelter, get dressed.’ He replied: ‘Mom, I’m awake, everything’s going to be okay,’” he said.
