The Senate can vote on Wednesday (02), the Provisional Measure (MP) that created the digital platform of worker credit focused on professionals in the private sector. The proposal organizes, in a single channel, the offer of payroll loans for workers with a formal contract, individual microentrepreneurs (MEIs), domestic employees and rural workers.
Published in March, the MP needs to be approved by July 9 to avoid the validity. As was modified by Congress, it also depends on presidential sanction. Through the platform, the user can compare the conditions offered by different financial institutions.
According to the Ministry of Labor, the platform had already moved more than $ 14 billion, in 25 million contracts, by early June. The ministry also reported that about 63% of operations were concentrated on workers with income of up to four minimum wages.
