Mark Wahlberg‘s daughter Grace is on the mend.
The Ted actor shared an update on his and wife Rhea Durham‘s 15-year-old, more than a week after she was hospitalized for an arm injury after an equestrian competition.
“She’s doing good,” Mark exclusively told E! News during an interview with The Family Plan 2 costar Michelle Monaghan. “It was very scary. She’s very brave. She’s tough.”
“She just wants to literally get back on the horse,” the actor—also dad to Ella22, Michael19, and Brendan17—noted. “But it was very, very scary.”
According to Mark, Grace couldn’t be more passionate about the sport—despite the dangers that come along with it.
“Always nerve-wracking when she’s jumping,” he added, “especially as she goes up in height quite often.”
But that’s not going to stop Grace—who has been riding horses professionally for years—from following her passion, as Mark reiterated, “She’s eager to get back.”
