Soldiers of the 80th Independent Airborne Assault Brigade from Galicia received American M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, thereby increasing the unit’s tactical capabilities on the Ukrainian front.
According to a recording published by the press service of the 80th Brigade, M2 Bradley vehicles were officially included in the unit’s arsenal.

To adapt to the new reality, armored vehicles have been equipped with additional protective structures against enemy drones – known among soldiers as “grills”. These metal trusses are intended to reduce the impact of aerial attacks by small explosive drones.
The commander of one of the vehicles, identified as Ruslan, commented on the Bradley’s performance and hope for new technological solutions:
“I read that during Operation Desert Storm in Iraq, the Bradley performed brilliantly. I hope that in our war they will soon develop something against fiber-optic drones. Then this equipment will prove its value again.”
The Bukovyna Brigade also recently received vehicles of the same type, strengthening the presence of American machines in Ukrainian forces.
