While most concepts remain in museums or showrooms, Audi has obtained a license to register Concept Ca futuristic-looking concept car that the brand unveiled last month.
Unlike concepts developed by other manufacturers, which serve more as a showcase of the brand’s capabilities than as an actual production car, it is Audi Concept C much closer to a real car than just a concept.
Concept C it is equipped with a rear-mounted electric motor that allows it to reach a speed of around 145 km/h. It is worth noting that the production version planned for 2027 will be significantly faster.
Still, that top speed is impressive for something most people thought was just a static exhibit on IAA Mobility Show in Munich (Germany) in September.
Since the launch of the car is still several years away, Audi didn’t share many technical details about the car, but Daniel Schustera spokesperson for technical development, told the site Engine1that Concept C is based on a newly developed platform “that will be shared within the group [Volkswagen]“.

As for the exterior, Massimo FrascellaAudi’s design director, confirmed that the exterior design Concept C reflects “87%” of the final form of the production version. For the first time for the brand, an electric folding hardtop will be the only body type produced, a hardtop coupe model is not planned.

Inside the cabin, there’s a minimalist aesthetic with a 10.4-inch slide-out screen and digital instrument panel. Apart from the technology, all controls are physical and designed for intuitive use.

The car was announced by the company Audi in September as “the beginning of a new design philosophy and therefore a defining moment for the Four Rings”, suggesting that the concept serves as a guide for future Audi models.
