Of course, fans who have been following Tom and Zendaya’s love story since the very beginning know they never wanted to share details of their romance. In fact, they only confirmed their relationship after being caught kissing in paparazzi photos in 2021.
“One of the downsides of our fame is that privacy isn’t really in our control anymore,” Tom told GQ a few months after the photos went viral“and a moment that you think is between two people that love each other very much is now a moment that is shared with the entire world.”
When the photos came out, thus confirming a romance after four years of speculation, Tom admitted, “We sort of felt robbed of our privacy.”
Zendaya later added in the same interview of the photographs, “It was quite strange and weird and confusing and invasive.”
