The winner of the elections in Hungary, Péter Magyar, declared victory this Sunday, the 12th, and stated that the country “was recovered” after the election. According to him, the government transition will be “peaceful and calm”, supported by a “strong mandate” at the polls. Magyar also said that his coalition is on track to achieve a two-thirds qualified majority in Parliament and classified the result as an “unprecedented mandate”.
