Police rescue alligator that ‘invaded’ swimming pool in Florida A police officer’s body camera recorded the moment a team rescued an alligator that ‘invaded’ a swimming pool in the city of Tampa, Florida, in the United States. “What was thought to be a human intruder… turned out to be an unwanted Florida-style guest,” a post from the city’s police department said jokingly. The video was recorded on March 29th, but was only released this week. “Shortly after 3 a.m. on March 29, 2026, officers found an alligator that had entered the home to swim alone,” the police department says. “With the help of an alligator trapper, the scaly suspect was safely removed, allowing residents to finally enjoy some well-deserved, alligator-free sleep.” Alligator ‘invades’ swimming pool of residence in Tampa, Florida Reproduction/Tampa Police Department
