American President Donald Trump posted this Thursday (2) a video with images of the attack on a bridge in the region of Tehran, the capital of Iran, and once again pressured the Islamic regime to reach an agreement to stop the war with the USA and Israel, which began on February 28.
“Iran’s biggest bridge collapses and will never be used again — and much more is to come! It’s time for Iran to make a deal before it’s too late and there’s nothing left of what could still become a great country!” Trump wrote on the Truth Social network.
According to the Iranian agency Fars, attacks hit a bridge under construction, the B1, which was close to completion and would be a link between Tehran and the city of Karaj. At 1,050 meters high, it would be the tallest in the Middle East. Iranian agencies reported that at least two people died in these attacks.
In response, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said bridges in other Middle Eastern countries will now be considered “legitimate targets,” mentioning the Arik Bridge on Highway 87 in Israel between the Lower Galilee and the Golan Heights, and links in Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan and Iraq.
The offensive comes the day after Trump’s televised speech on the war, in which the American president predicted that the conflict should be ended within three weeks.
“We are going to hit them extremely hard in the next two to three weeks. We are going to bring them back to the Stone Age where they belong,” said the American president.
