Sofia Mattsson is always game for a new adventure.
Close to two weeks after announcing that she would be joining the cast of Days of Our Livesthe actress detailed what it’s been like stepping into the new role after her exit from General Hospital.
“The role is very complex and interesting and I also just love working in daytime,” Sofia told People in an interview published on April 3. “It’s such a fun challenge as an actress since it’s so incredibly fast paced and always very high stakes circumstances.”
“I was a bit nervous for sure,” the 34-year-old added of joining the Days of Our Lives cast. “But having been on General Hospital helped ease a lot of worries, as I’m already very familiar with the concept and structure of a daytime show.”
Indeed, Sofia had lots of experience starring on a daytime soap. After all, she played Sasha Gilmore, the daughter of Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) and Robert Scorpio (the late Tristan Rogers), from 2018 until her departure last summer.
