Matthew Perry Death: “Ketamine Queen” Who Supplied Actor With Drugs Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison
Jasveen Sangha will spend more than a decade behind bars.
The drug dealer, known as the “Ketamine Queen,” was sentenced to 15 years in prison for her part in providing Friends star Matthew Perry with ketamine that led to his death in 2023, according to the Department of Justice.
Before receiving her sentence on April 8, Sangha described her criminal activity as “poor choices” and “horrible decisions that ultimately proved tragic.”
“I pray for forgiveness every day,” the 42-year-old said to the courtroom, per NBC News. “Thank you for giving me the harshest reality check of my life. Thank you for taking me out of the equation.”
In September, Sangha pleaded guilty to one count of using her home for drug distribution, three counts of distribution of ketamine, and one count of distribution of ketamine resulting in death.
While her attorneys requested that their client, who has been in federal custody since her arrest in August 2024, be sentenced to time served, federal prosecutors pushed for the exact judgement delivered by United States District Judge Sherilyn Peace Garnett.
