Chuck Norris’ Family on AI-Generated Posts About His Death

by Syndicated News

Chuck Norris‘ loved ones are pushing back.

Two weeks after the Walker star died at age 86, his family condemned online users for creating and circulating AI-generated posts about the actor.

“We are aware that since Chuck’s passing, there have been a number of AI-generated videos and posts circulating online,” the family shared in a statement on Chuck’s Instagram Stories April 1, “that contain false and misleading information regarding the circumstances of his passing, his health history, and who was present.

Among the posts going viral on Facebook was an AI-generated photo showing a casket with his name, surrounded by stars like Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jackie Chan.

“These claims are entirely untrue,” they continued. “This includes fabricated reports of past medical issues, as well as false narratives surrounding family relationships.”

The martial artist’s loved one also issued a plea to the public.

“We kindly ask that you do not believe or share any information unless it comes directly from the Norris family or an official family representative,” the message concluded. “Thank you for your understanding and for continuing to keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.”
