Vorcaro’s ex-girlfriend will “hardly” appear before the Organized Crime CPI

by Marcelo Moreira

Banker Daniel Vorcaro’s ex-girlfriend, Martha Graeff, is unlikely to appear before the Organized Crime CPI. The members of the Commission would have already been notified this Wednesday (18). The information comes from reporter Caiã Messina.

Given this scenario, the possibility of holding a private session is being discussed, which could take place in person or via videoconference, as an alternative to enable participation.

The senators’ interest is to clarify, above all, whether the banker’s other assets are held abroad. Furthermore, they intend to deepen investigations into Vorcaro’s possible political links with authorities from the Three Powers.

Graeff was scheduled to go to testify at the CPI next Monday (23). The call was made based on a request presented by the federal deputy Kim Kataguiri.

According to investigations conducted by Federal Policethere are signs of asset transfers that could exceed R$520 million in favor of Graeff. The investigations indicate that Vorcaro would have created a legal structure in the United States, placing the ex-fiancee as a direct beneficiary.

Among the assets identified are a house in Miami, valued at more than R$450 million, as well as items and gifts of high financial value.
