This Friday (13), according to the Grupo Bandeirantes reporter, Daniel Vorcaro will have a new lawyer and intends to enter into a plea bargain agreement. Pierpaolo Bottini’s office distanced itself from the defense, citing personal reasons.
The case was passed on to José Luis Oliveira Lima, a specialist in helping defendants cooperate with the courts in high-profile cases.
Last week, Vorcaro had already consulted investigators from the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) and the Federal Police (PF) about the feasibility of signing a plea bargain. However, he was awaiting the outcome of the trial regarding his freedom before deciding to go ahead with the collaboration.
