Domingos Brazão and Rivaldo Barbosa should be transferred this Sunday (15) to the Bangu Complex, in Rio de Janeiro. The transfer was authorized by Supreme Court Minister Alexandre de Moraes.
They are serving their sentences in federal prisons in Porto Velho and Mossoró. According to Moraes, with the conviction there is no longer a need to keep the two in maximum security units outside the State of Rio.
The former councilor of the Court of Auditors and the former head of the Civil Police were convicted of the murder of councilor Marielle Franco and driver Anderson Gomes, which occurred in 2018.
