Singapore has announced the acquisition of three Gulfstream G550-MSA maritime patrol aircraft as part of its estimated $18.4 billion defense budget for 2026, with the aim of strengthening maritime domain awareness and early warning capability in the city-state’s strategic environment.
The new aircraft will operate alongside four Boeing P-8A Poseidon aircraft, already selected for the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF).
