Luiz Phillipi Machado de Moraes, the “Sicário” of banker Daniel Vorcaro, died in Belo Horizonte, on Friday night (6). The information was confirmed by the defense who, through a note, reported that his clinical condition led to death at 6:55 pm. Now, the body will be sent to the Legal Medical Institute.
Sources from the Federal Police (PF) point out that “Sicário”, who would be one of the operators of the group involved in the Master case, hanged himself with his own shirt in the jail where he was held, at the PF Superintendence in Minas Gerais. The action was caught on security cameras. The agents managed to prevent the act from being completed and began treatment and, shortly after, he was taken to the hospital.
According to the investigation, he had a central role in the criminal organization and carried out orders to monitor targets, illegally extract data from confidential systems and carry out physical and moral intimidation. The Federal Police investigation also points to a violent dynamic evidenced by conversations between Sicário and Vorcaro, and indicates that he would act as an agent of the organization’s violent practices. According to the PF report, Luiz Phillipi received R$1 million per month for illicit services.
