Saudi Arabia’s prince has encouraged Trump to continue war and destroy Iran’s regime, says newspaper

The Saudi leader’s position is similar to that of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, despite these two governments considering each other enemies. Both consider Iran a long-term threat. Salman and Netanyahu’s vision on Iran, however, has a difference, according to the NYT: while Israel could consider a victory in the conflict if Tehran becomes a failed and unstable state, Saudi Arabia considers this to be a serious threat to its national security.
