The conflict began on Saturday (28) after the US and Israel launched bombings on Iranian territory that killed supreme leader Ali Khamenei and other high-ranking members of the military and government in Tehran. Since then, Iran has been carrying out retaliatory attacks against US military equipment and bases in the Middle East.
