Military police seized R$288,000 in cash during an approach in Lapa, West Zone of São Paulo. During a patrol, Choque police officers approached an individual in a suspicious attitude near a bank branch. The backpack he was carrying contained a large amount of cash, totaling more than R$288,000, as well as a cell phone.
When asked about the origin and destination of the amount, the person approached did not provide conclusive explanations or documentation to prove the origin of the money. Later, a woman who identified herself as his sister arrived at the scene and presented a different version of the origin of the amount. The money and cell phone were seized.
