The Civil Police released, this Monday (2), the photos of the suspects involved in the gang rape of a minorwhich took place at the end of January, in Copacabana, in the South Zone of Rio.
According to investigations, Bruno Felipe dos Santos Allegretti, aged 18; Vitor Hugo Oliveira Simonin, 18; Mattheus Verissimo Zoel Martins, 19; and João Gabriel Xavier Bertho, 19. A 17-year-old teenager is also investigated, but his identity has been preserved. They are considered fugitives from justiceand efforts are still underway to locate them.
The crime, which occurred after the victim was lured to the location by her teenage ex-boyfriend, involves four adult men and the minor. So far, the five suspects are considered fugitives.
Disque Denúncia published a poster to help locate the fugitives, who are:
- Bruno Felipe dos Santos Allegretti, 18 years old;
- Vitor Hugo Oliveira Simonin, 18;
- Mattheus Verissimo Zoel Martins, 19; and
- João Gabriel Xavier Bertho, 19.
Records from the building’s security cameras show the young woman entering the building accompanied by the teenager.
Upon arriving at the apartment, the teenager was surprised by the presence of the other four men. According to the victim’s testimony, she was coerced into participating in sexual acts with the group and, after refusing, she was attacked and forced to maintain relationships with everyone involved.
The Civil Police use exchanges of messages between the victim and her ex-boyfriend as proof of the ambush. In addition to the search for the suspects, the investigation is working to identify whether the group had other victims.
The school where the young people study began proceedings to remove the accused. A football club where one of the suspects worked also took measures to dismiss the athlete.
