According to a reporter from Grupo Bandeirantes, this Thursday (12), Federal Police investigators assess that it is still not possible to rule out the possibility of a possible plea bargain by the owner of Banco Master, Daniel Vorcaro, despite the banker’s defense having already ruled out this possibility.
According to delegates involved in the case, any conclusion at this point would be a hasty decision. They highlight that only one of the cell phones seized from the owner of Banco Master was analyzed.
In total, eight devices were collected, which will still undergo forensic examination. According to investigators, the content found on these devices could influence the defense strategy, which could even reconsider its next steps to benefit the client.
The Federal Police also intends to expand the team of experts responsible for analyzing the material, with the aim of speeding up the work. As the data is considered sensitive and there is concern about preventing leaks, the idea is that professionals act separately, so that only those directly linked to the investigation have complete access to the information.
