A DoorDash delivery man was arrested on Sunday (1) by Washington Township Police, New Jersey. The offender was on route to deliver an order for a customer.
“Around noon on Sunday, Officer Glatz stopped a vehicle in front of the high school. Officers discovered that the driver was a wanted person with warrants for his arrest,” the agency reported on Facebook.
According to Washington Township Police Chief Patrick Gurcsik, the arrest was made after the driver was stopped for a traffic violation while on patrol.
“He informed officers that he had two DoorDash meals in his car that he was in the middle of delivering,” Gurcsik said.
While officers were arresting the man, he said he was making a delivery around the block via DoorDash. Two agents mobilized to complete the order.

The department apologized to the resident for the surprise and fright. “We hoped the lunch was still hot,” police added.
