Moraes backtracks and denies Trump advisor visiting Bolsonaro in jail; Itamaraty saw ‘undue interference’

Itamaraty, in a document signed by minister Mauro Vieira, pointed out that in the initial contact for granting a visa “there was no mention of the visitor’s possible interest in carrying out meetings or visits not related to the officially communicated objectives. Thus, the processing and granting of the visa occurred exclusively based on the justification then presented by the Department of State”.
