Minister André Mendonça, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), extended this Wednesday (18) the investigation investigating fraud at Banco Master.
With the decision, the Federal Police (PF) will have 60 days to complete the investigations.
The frauds are investigated by Operation Compliance Zero, launched to investigate the granting of false credits by Banco Master, including the attempted purchase of the financial institution by Banco Regional de Brasília (BRB), a public bank linked to the government of the Federal District.
According to preliminary investigations, fraud could reach R$17 billion.
