Lulinha is willing to voluntarily testify to André Mendonça

by Marcelo Moreira

Fábio Luís Lula da Silva, son of President Lula, is willing to provide voluntary testimony to Minister André Mendonça in the case of the INSS scandal. The minister has not yet decided on the matter. The information comes from reporter Pedro Teixeira, from Grupo Bandeirantes.

The idea is that Lulinha can provide clarification on the suspicions of her involvement in the embezzlement scheme for retirees. He is in Spain and should come to Brazil.

On February 26, Lulinha was the target of a parliamentary request for the CPMI to break banking and tax secrecy. This occurred after the Federal Police found a conversation in which he was mentioned by businessman Antônio Carlos Camilo Antunes, the “Careca do INSS”, arrested on suspicion of leading the embezzlement scheme. Lulinha’s defense today admitted to the Federal Supreme Court that he traveled to Portugal with the businessman’s expenses paid.
