The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) this Monday (16) bombed a command center linked to the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence in the capital Tehran, in yet another attack within the Israeli and American military offensive against strategic structures of the Iranian regime. According to the military, the target was part of the country’s central security systems.

According to a statement released by the IDF, the attack was carried out by the Israeli Air Force based on accurate intelligence information. The army said the headquarters it hit was located inside a building belonging to Iran’s state electricity company, which Israel said would indicate the use of civilian infrastructure for military purposes.

“The attack on the headquarters is part of the deepening of the attacks against the regime’s central systems and its security capabilities,” the IDF said in a statement.

According to the Israeli military, the operation is part of a series of actions aimed at weakening structures considered strategic for the Iranian regime’s actions, including intelligence bodies, military installations and technological development centers linked to defense.

In another statement, the IDF also reported that it carried out attacks against a complex in Tehran that, according to Israel, was part of the Iranian military space program. According to the Army, the site was used to develop attack capabilities against satellites, which would pose a threat to Israeli and other countries’ space systems.

According to the military, the target was linked to projects conducted by the Iranian Ministry of Defense and electronics industries associated with the military program. Israel claims that the Iranian regime has invested for years in the development of space technologies with potential use in military operations.
