Iran’s Revolutionary Guard threatens Netanyahu with death

by Marcelo Moreira

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard said this Sunday (15) that it will “relentlessly pursue” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to end his life.

“We will continue to pursue relentlessly and forcefully kill the criminal Zionist prime minister, if he is still alive,” the elite military force said in a statement issued by its public relations office and posted on the website Sepah Newslinked to the Guard.

The threat coincided with the launch of the 52nd wave of Iranian attacks against industrial sectors in Israel and American forces in the Middle East, according to the Revolutionary Guard, which did not specify which country it was.

Israel and the US eliminated several senior Iranian officials, including the then supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, the commander-in-chief of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, General Mohammad Pakpour, and the chief of staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, General Abdolrahim Mousavi.

The joint force has been bombarding the Persian country daily, which has responded with attacks on American and energy facilities in the region, in addition to blocking the Strait of Hormuz.

The Revolutionary Guard announced this Sunday the use, for the first time, of the solid-fuel ballistic missile Sejil in a new wave of attacks against military targets in Israel, according to a statement released by the news agency More. Sejil, with a range of up to two thousand kilometers, allows rapid launches from mobile platforms.
